Short Biography

Ana Cabrera is a Peruvian artist and Licensed Art Psychotherapist based in New York City since 2018. She has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and a Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy and Creativity Development. Her Fine Art and Psychology studies at “Pontifical Catholic University of Peru” along with an MPS at Pratt Institute, enhance both her creativity and artistic projects, as well as her clinical training and therapeutic relationships.

As a licensed art therapist, she believes in the power of creativity to heal, transform, and connect us to our deepest selves. Cabrera is constantly striving to integrate her practices and create a holistic symbiotic space within art and healing practices. As a Latin artist and art psychotherapist, she is interested in working with people of color and feels strongly committed to her community. Her goal is to empower individuals to use art as a tool for self-discovery and emotional resilience, leading to personal growth and transformation.
